OffGridWealth: Portfolio Suite, for Windows and Android. Last updated 15 October 2026.
OffGridWealth: Portfolio Suite (“the app”) is made by Tekzova Technologies, India (“we”). This policy explains what the app does with information. The short version: we do not collect, receive, store or share your personal or financial data. There is no account to create and no server of ours holding your data.
1. Information the app handles
You may import or enter financial information such as mutual-fund statements, holdings, transactions, deposits, loans, insurance policies, family members’ names, PAN, goals and plans. This information is processed and stored only on your device, inside the app’s private storage. It is never sent to us.
If you set an app password, the stored data is encrypted on your device with AES-256. We cannot recover a forgotten password, because we never have it.
2. Information we collect
None. The app has no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising identifiers and no crash reporting to us. We do not know who installs it.
3. Internet connections
The app connects to the internet only for features you use or switch on yourself:
| When | Where | What is sent |
|---|---|---|
| Refresh NAV | AMFI (amfiindia.com); if unavailable, mfapi.in and mf.captnemo.in | A request for the public price list, or for the price of a fund by its public scheme code or name |
| Index history, for fund health and benchmarks | Public market-data sources | A request for an index’s public price history |
| Find a fund | mfapi.in | A request for the public list of schemes, and for the price history of a scheme you look up |
| Google Drive backup (optional, off until you connect it) | Google Drive, under your own Google account | Your backup file, to a folder the app creates in your Drive. See section 4. |
The price and fund-list requests do not include your name, PAN, folio numbers, amounts or anything you entered. As with any internet request, the server you contact can see your IP address. Turning on fully offline mode in Settings stops all of these connections, including Google Drive backup.
4. Google Drive backup
If you choose to connect Google Drive, the app asks Google for permission to create and manage only the files it creates itself (Google’s “drive.file” scope). It cannot see, read or change anything else in your Drive. Backups are saved to a folder named OffGridWealth Backups in your own Google Drive, and the newest twelve are kept.
On Windows you sign in to Google in your own web browser; the app stores the resulting access token on your computer, encrypted with a key tied to that computer. On Android the app uses the Google account already on your phone. Nothing about your Google account is sent to us. You can disconnect in Settings at any time, which also revokes the app’s access with Google, and you can delete the backup folder from your Drive like any other folder. Google’s own privacy policy applies to files stored in your Drive.
5. Files and backups you save yourself
Backups, reports and calendar files are saved where you choose. If you choose a folder that is synced by another service, that service’s own privacy policy applies to the copy it syncs. The app itself does not upload anything else.
6. Permissions (Android)
The app uses the system file picker to open the statements you choose and to save backups and reports. It uses the internet permission only for the connections in section 3. It does not ask for contacts, location, camera, microphone, SMS or call logs.
7. Purchases and licences
The core app is free. Buying Pro is handled by the store you installed from — Google Play on Android, the Microsoft Store on Windows — under that store’s terms and privacy policy. We receive confirmation that a purchase is valid, not your payment details. If you installed the Windows app from our website instead of the Microsoft Store, activating a licence uses a request code made from the name you type and a code that identifies your computer, which you send to us by email so we can issue a key; we use it only to issue and check your licence.
The 14-day trial is recorded on your device and inside your backup files so that the trial cannot be restarted by reinstalling. That record contains a date and a checksum, not your data.
8. Children
The app is meant for adults managing their own or their family’s finances. It is not directed at children.
9. Deleting your data
Because your data is only on your device, you control it. Use “Clear” in the app’s settings, or uninstall the app, to remove it. Remember to delete any backup files you made, including the OffGridWealth Backups folder in your Google Drive if you used it.
10. Not advice
The app shows facts and estimates calculated from your own data. It does not provide investment, tax, insurance or legal advice.
11. Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
